Experience
1-4 years of experience in designing mobile and web applications.
Knowledge
Understanding the principles of user-friendly interfaces, designing low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes, preparing final designs for handover to developers. Strong knowledge of Figma (components, variables, auto layout).
Learning
A desire for diverse work, continuous learning, and expanding design knowledge. Openness to feedback.
Communication
Ability to collaborate with the team around you (i.e., a 'team player') and fluency in written and spoken English (for client communication).
Research
You're interested in participating in customer interviews, conducting user testing, and similar activities. If you've already done this, even better.
Journey Visualization
Flows, user journeys, personas... tools that help you understand and communicate with stakeholders in the process (or with yourself). Miro FTW ✌️.
Technology
You understand basic technical terms (database, API, FE) and you can communicate with developers.
Business
You're curious about how companies make money and how digital products contribute in that process (or don't). You often ask yourself if your design solution contributes to solving business goals (along with user goals).
Project Work
Experience working on projects in diverse teams using agile methodologies.
AI
You're interested in optimizing the design process with AI tools.
What we expect in your application:
Junior applicants can expect salary range €2,100 - €2,600 gross per month and mid applicants can expect salary range €2,600 - €3,300 gross per month.
Through work with bleeding-edge technologies, a personal budget for education, and sharing our own knowledge.
We value your work. Competitive pay, possibilities for promotions, and the ability to influence the final products are proof of that.
Open door policy and arguments over hierarchy. We always listen to you, and we are always true to our word. We expect the same from you.
Choose your preferred type of employment, when and where you work from, and a laptop and OS you feel most comfortable with.
Separate budgets for sports, education, and equipment are at your disposal.
New offices, a parking space, beanbags, a hammock, PlayStation (and NES!), snacks, and smoothies. Awesome coffee.
We will first review your application, and if you meet the requirements, we will invite you to a 30-minute video meeting or a cup of coffee at our headquarters in Ljubljana.
We will often ask you to complete a task to show the level of your skills. Typically, the task is designed to take a few hours to complete, with a submission deadline of 7 days (one week). We will always provide you with feedback on your work.
Based on the number of applications received, these two steps can be interchanged: the technical interview can come first, followed by the task, or the other way around. Alternatively, we might just skip the task and go straight for the interview.
If everything goes well, we will invite you to one final talk where we align our expectations and discuss the beginning of your journey with us.
If this sounds like you, we'd love to talk. Let's connect and discuss the possibilities!
