Mid Project Manager

At Kaldi, with operational offices in Ljubljana and business in London, we specialize in developing complex web and mobile applications for clients in the UK and Slovenia. We’re looking to add a Mid Project Manager (m/f) who clearly understands the role of a Scrum Master and is dedicated to handling relationships (budgets, expectations, delivery) between the company and clients.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Requirements

  • Track record

    A proven track record of managing several projects from the development phase to a functioning production environment.

  • Experience

    At least two years of experience in project management in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).

  • Communication skills

    Excellent communication skills (fluent written and spoken English and Slovenian), both with the team and with clients.

  • Learning mindset

    Passion and openness for learning and continuous improvement.

Bonus points

  • Technical Knowledge

    Understanding the basics of web technologies (databases, backend systems, APIs, integrations, testing, REST, etc.).

  • Experience

    Previous experience in a comparable company (in software development services).

  • Entrepreneurship

    Experience in startup environments and/or personal business experience.

  • Education

    Additional certifications or training in Scrum methodologies and/or software project management.

  • Finance

    Understanding the economics of software development services.

What will be your day-to-day activities?

  • Managing development projects through all stages, from initial sales activities, development, production, and maintenance.
  • Aligning expectations and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Leading project timelines and supporting the execution of product roadmap plans.
  • Managing project risks (risk management) and changes (change management).
  • Financial management (coordinating budgets and related project hours, monitoring the use of project hours, team coordination, and reporting finances to clients and internally).
  • Organizing and coordinating work and activities of the project (Scrum) team members.
  • Implementing and overseeing project activities (using tools like JIRA, Confluence, Miro, etc.).
  • Independently managing multiple active projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborating with other project managers and department leads.

Applicants can expect salary range 2600 € - 3300 € gross per month,

Due to the nature of the role, we expect our new team member to be mostly present in the office (half-time to full time).
