We’re growing our team with a passionate, driven QA Team Lead who can operate in both worlds: hands-on QA work on projects, and building, supporting, and leading our QA team.
Requirements
Experience
Minimum 4 years of work experience in the field of manual or automated QA testing of web/mobile applications
Skills
Analysis of functionality requirements and writing reports on errors and their repeatability; preparation of test plans and scenarios
Communication
Ability to cooperate with the team around you (read: 'team player') and fluent written and spoken English and Slovene
Automation
Knowledge of tools and/or languages for test automation
Way of thinking
Understanding users and how they use applications. Attention to detail
Leadership & Strategy
The ability to design a QA strategy from scratch, and support teammates’ professional growth
Personality
Emotionally intelligent, trustworthy, compassionate, structured, fierce in leading the team with integrity
Drive
Openness to learn about new technologies / tools
Bonus points
Technical education
Computer Sciences / Electrical Engineering / Mathematics & Physics or other natural sciences
Development skills
You once called yourself a “developer”
Mobile testing
In-depth understanding of mobile testing principles and specifics
Front-end
Basic understanding on the front-end (JS framework - Angular, React, Vue)
Agile teamwork
Experience in working with agile methodologies and teams
JIRA
Knowledge and experience working in JIRA or a comparable tool
UX
Experience / knowledge / feeling / interest in the field of UX
- Lead and mentor QA engineers while building culture and their professional growth
- Execute manual testing scenarios
- Write/maintain/plan automation tests
- Lead bug triage to categorize, prioritize, and track critical sprint issues, actively be a part of the development cycle, connected to the project team.
